Meat and olive patties

Meat and olive pies are easy and delicious appetizers that can be prepared alongside your main dishes, as olives add a distinctive taste to the meat in the filling of pancakes that are placed in a dough of simple ingredients consisting of flour, yeast, milk, water, sugar and salt and then cooked in the oven until it becomes golden and delicious.

Ingredients


    To prepare the dough:

    3 cups of flour

    1 tablespoon sugar

    1 tablespoon instant yeast

    ½ 1 teaspoon salt

    1 tablespoon milk powder

    1 ½ cup of lukewarm water

    Egg yolks to spread the dough

    To prepare the filling:

    ½ kilo of minced meat

    2 tablespoons oil

    1 onion, finely chopped

    Olive slices

    Salt to taste

    Pinch of black pepper


How to prepare


    We start preparing the dough, put the flour in a bowl, add salt, sugar, yeast and milk, mix, then add water gradually and knead until we have a cohesive dough.

    Cover the dough and leave it aside for an hour until it doubles in size.

    Put the oil in a frying pan, heat it, add the chopped onions, stir until wilted, then add the meat, salt and pepper, stir and leave it on a medium to low heat.

    We stir the meat from time to time until it is done.

    Put the olive slices with the meat and stir until well mixed.

    We spread the dough on a surface after sprinkling it with flour and cut it in circles, then put a filling in each of them and close them tightly from the sides.

    We put parchment paper on a baking sheet and arrange the pancakes in it, then cover them and leave them aside to ferment for a quarter of an hour.

    We heat the oven at a temperature of 200 and brush the dough with the egg yolk, then put the tray in the oven for about 20 minutes until the pancakes are golden and so they are ready.
