Ingredients
Dates: 500 grams (paste)
Cardamom: 1 teaspoon (smooth)
Cinnamon: half a teaspoon
Biscuit: half a cup (ground)
- Liquid Cream: 1 cup (for chocolate sauce)
Chocolate: 500 grams (for chocolate sauce)
Vanilla: 1/4 teaspoon (liquid, for chocolate sauce)
Chocolate: to taste (melted, to serve)
How to prepare
1. Bring small plates, or use a wide plate.
2. In a deep dish, put: the paste dates, cardamom, cinnamon and ground biscuit. And stir, so the ingredients are distributed together, and you get a soft paste.
3. Shape this mixture into small balls.
4. Put the serving sticks in the date balls, then put them in the chocolate, in the serving plate.
5. Leave the balls aside, until the chocolate is completely firm.
6. To prepare the chocolate sauce: In a small saucepan, add the liquid cream, and heat it over a medium heat, until some bubbles start to form on the side of the saucepan. Then add the chocolate and vanilla, stirring constantly, using a wooden spoon, until the chocolate melts. Keep the sauce in the fridge to cool completely.
7. To serve: Spread the chocolate sauce over the date balls, then serve.
