Ingredients

Butter: 180 grams

Sugar: three quarters of a cup

Egg yolk: 2 pieces

Vanilla: half a teaspoon

Flour: one and a half cups

Almonds: 12 cup (ground)

Baking powder: Half a teaspoon

Cardamom: half a teaspoon (ground)

Saffron: half a teaspoon

Apricot jam: as desired (to decorate)

Pistachios: as desired (to decorate)

Cherry: as desired (dried / topping)

How to prepare


    Put the butter, sugar, egg yolk, and half a teaspoon of vanilla in the electric mixer and mix the ingredients.

     Add flour, ground almonds, baking powder, ground cardamom and saffron.

    Mix the ingredients again until you have a homogeneous and cohesive dough.

     Form the dough into small balls, and put them on an oven tray.

     Garnish the cookies with pistachios, dried cherries, or apricot jam, as desired.

     Enter the tray in the oven for 25 minutes at a temperature of 200.
